Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 Special Stage transcription The "Special Stage" is one that you unlock after playing through every possible scenario in the Alpha 3 flowchart. Once you do this, it becomes available to choose at the bottom of the flowchart listing. Incidentally, if you complete the Special stage, go back to the main title screen, and start a new game (NOT a clear game, just a brand new game from scratch) from the main menu, then you will have access to all of the units and pilots you used in that stage. The same thing applies to every other optional scenario you can play from the flowchart. However, this is an unintended bug, and as I hear it, you don't get to keep some key characters after they come and go in the plot.
